Before Purchase

What is a preset?
Presets are photo 'filters' on a program called Adobe Lightroom (Lightroom CC app for Mobile devices & Lightroom Classic CC for Desktop / computer. With presets you could tranform your picture with just one click (and a few tweaks, depending on which photo you use it on). With presets you can create a consistent feed on instagram or other social media channels. Or you could not upload the pictures and just have them yourself. Thats completely up to you.

DESKTOP or MOBILE presets?
Desktop presets are presets you use on the computer program Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, and the desktop presets are only compatible with that program. Running Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, will require a monthly subscription of 15$.
Be sure to update your Adobe Lightroom Classic CC before purchasing my desktop presets.
Mobile presets are compatible with the Lightroom CC app available on iTunes, Google, App store and so on. It's a free app and does not require a monthly subscription.

Are these the same presets you use on @mathildahogbergs ?
Yes, I've created these presets from scratch and I use them frequently on my Instagram page.

Are you sure my photos will be the same as yours?

No, I cannot say that your photos will end up looking like mine. Presets are as I said filters and no filter end up looking exactly the same on every photo. You may need to end up doing some minor tweaks on the photos you apply my presets onto. Sometimes you need to end up tweaking more, and sometimes you end up tweaking less. However I have worked hard on these presets to make sure you wont need to tweak too much.

What can affect how the preset look like?
These are just a few things that may affect how the preset will end up looking.
  1. Location: The ocean in the Maldives doesn't look the same as the ocean in Sweden. They both are blue, but not the same. It's important to remember that every location is unique and the color scheme affects how the preset will end up looking.
  2. Lighting: indoor/outdoor, time of the day, time of the year, angle of the sun, clouds/no clouds.
  3. Camera/phone: Canon, Sony and Nikon are all different and the pictures will end up looking slightly different.
  4. Lens: Same as with the cameras.
  5. Camera Settings: For example, what ISO and exposure you use on the camera will affect how the preset end up looking.
  6. Skin Tones & hair color: What is so great about us humans are our differences. These differences however will affect how the preset looks on you. Maybe your skintone is lighter or darker than mine, this will have an affect on the preset. However this is easy to fix with the colors orange and red.
  7. Whether you shoot in RAW or JPEG
How do I make the best out of my Presets?
I highly recommend you to shoot all of your photos in RAW format, not JPEG, as RAW is the best way to capture as much data from an image. You can easily change this in your phone or camera settings.
However the presets will work on JPEG, but it will require a little more tweaking since I created the presets using RAW.

I encourage you to try as many presets from the pack as possible and see which ones might suite the photo you are working with the besr – from there you can tweak exposure, contrast, tone (warm / cool) and saturation until you get it right!

Are the presets compatible with Photoshop?
No, These presets only work on Lightroom.

What happens if I don't like the presets?
All sales are final, but please email me if you're having trouble. I would love to help you out.

Where are the presets? I bought them an hour ago.
Once you order the presets, you will receive 2 emails if you purchased one pack or one preset, however if you bought several ones you will get several download emails. One will be an order confirmation & the other the zipped presets files.

  1. If you got the confirmation email, but not the email with the order, please be patient. Sometimes it takes up to 20-30 minutes. If you still haven’t received it, it means the shop can’t process your payment right away (sometimes some banks block certain internet purchases). Please check with your bank & email us.
  2. If you haven’t got the confirmation email, it means you must have misspelled your email address. Please email me on mathilda.hogberg@hotmail.com with a full name & email you want to use & we will get you all set! (Sometimes I don't answer right away, so be patient)

I can't open the attachment files, they look weird!!!
Presets are huge, as they hold quite a lot of data. Because of this, they will need to be sent via a zip file. It’s pretty simple, you’ll just need to double click the zip file to download the presets & your guide to install + a welcome letter from us. Follow the installation guide for an in-depth guide to installation

HELP! I can't open the zip files on my phone!
Yes, that’s because you try to open them on your phone first. I recommend unzipping the zip folder on your computer, then transfering them to the mobile device.

My skin looks WEIRD/UNNATURAL
As earlier stated in the text, we humans are all unique and our skin and hair color are different. The presets will be affected by what skin color you might have or what hair color is on your head. It can even be affected differently depending on how tan you are in one specific photo. Adjusting the skin color is not difficult, you will need to adjust the orange color to change how the skin will look like. Play around with it to make it perfect.
